Repetitive Use Injuries
It’s no surprise that doing the same thing over and over again can produce injury. As activites in either work, home, or recreation are repeated over and over again, chronic overuse injuries may result. Common examples of repetitive use injuries in the hand and upper extremity include: tendonitis, nerve compression conditions such as carpal tunnel or cubital tunnel syndromes, arthritis, and sclerosing tenosynovitis (otherwise known as trigger finger).
The staff at California Hand Center has the experience to treat these chronic overuse conditions, whether they arise out of work or play.
